KADAPA: Home Guard selections will be held in Kadapa on June 7 and candidates aged between 18 and 50 years of age can apply between May 26 and June 3, Kadapa Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi said on Monday.
Candidates who have passed class VII can collect the application forms from the Kadapa District Police Office and submit filled in forms along with their original educational and study certificates and two passport photos, he said in a statement here. Male candidates with minimum height of 165 cm and women candidates with minimum height of 150 cm and weight not exceeding 40 kg were eligible, he said.
All the candidates should qualify in 3.2 km run in 20 minutes and women should complete 1.6 km run in 15 minutes on the outer ring road near RIMS and then appear for the physical examination test. The 100 marks test includes 80 marks for events and 20 for interview.
Selection will be made without scope for malpractice and candidates who try to influence it will be disqualified, Dr. Joshi warned. He urged applicants to alert the Police Control Room on No. 100, if anyone offered them posts for money.
