“Swara Neerajanam” in Rajampet on 12th

KADAPA: Kalanjali Sangeetha, Nrutya and Nataka Kala Parishad of Rajampet will celebrate renowned singer Ghantasala’s birth anniversary on December 12 by conducting “Swara Neerajanam”, a song competition in Rajampet, its president S. Kalanjali said on Tuesday.

Singers interested in participation in the contest should get their names enrolled at Kalanjali Cultural Organisation office near the RDO office in Rajampet by paying an entry fee of Rs. 100, he said in a statement. Besides rolling shields for the first and second prize winners, two consolation prizes and winner/participation certificates would be given, he said. A website will be started soon on behalf of Kalanjali Sangeetha, Nrutya and Nataka Kala Parishad  organization he added.
