Occupation: Agriculture ; 

Resident of Tsundupalle, Rayachoti Taluk ;  organized the Individual Satyagraha Movement, 1940-41 in the District as the D.C.C. President; A fine of Rs. 500/- was paid and suffered three months S.I. from 28-5-1941 in the Vellore Central Jail ; Exhorted the people throughout the District to organize and fight the British by any means at their disposal during the Quit India Movement, as per the famous Andhra P.C.C. circular of 1942;

Reddy worked underground before he was arrested and detained from 11-12-1942 to 7-12-1944 in the Vellore and Thanjavur Jails; President, Cuddapah D.C.C., 1940-49; Member, A.I.C.C. since 1969; President, District Cooperative Central Bank, 1965-69 ; Editor, ‘Azad Hind’, a Telugu weekly at Cuddapah, 1947-49 ; Director, Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank and Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing Federation for three years ; M.L.A. from 1952 to 1954 and again
from 1954 to 1962. Member, Rajya Sabha, 1964 to 1970 ; Elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council on 27-6-1974.
