YSR Congress demands release of water

Kadapa: YSR Congress honorary president, Pulivendula MLA YS Vijayamma criticised the government for not releasing water for irrigation in July and August months though there was 11 tmc of water in the Brahma Sagar reservoir. She made a point that former CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy provided water for 30,000 acres of land.

Ms Vijayamma alleged that the District Collector had not given permission to her party leaders for conducting a dharna peacefully. She severely condemned the police for arresting former MLAs and party incharge Suresh Babu. She demanded the government to release water immediately.
