Govt. Should set-up Alternate to Brahmani: RJAC

The Rayalaseema Joint Action Committee meeting, held under the presidentship of M.V. Ramana Reddy, has decided to launch a agitation in a phased manner demanding that the government should ensure completion of the Bramhani steel factory at Jammalamadugu in YSR district.

The steel factory remained incomplete due to the imprisonment of former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy. As hundreds of crores were spent on it so far, the factory should not be left incomplete by the government by merely taking over the land, Dr. Ramana Reddy told reporters at Proddatur. Government Should also take steps to complete the factory by PSU such as SAIL, to fulfil employment to local youth, MVR stressed.
