Talamanchipatnam Village (Mylavaram Mandal)

Talamanchipatnam is one of the small villages of Mylavaram Mandal, which is having minimal population.This village is having an oldest Lord venkateswara swamy temple, once it was in the middle of the village,but now it is at the outerside of the villge. We can see the village as KOTA area which is at some highest area,and the PETA is at some lower part of the village.Kota is surrounded by some rock fort which is now in a damaged position This village is famous for its rock mines.The stone pieces of this village were used to the construction of Srisailam Temple and other famous temples also. It is located at a distance of 14 k.ms. from Jammalamadugu town, on Jammalamadugu - Tadipatri state highway.
