This is a small village of Mylavaram Mandal, which is having minimal population.This village is having an oldest Lord venkateswara swamy temple,once it was in the middle of the village,but now it is at the outerside of the villge.We can see the village as KOTA area which is at some highest area,and the PETA is at some lower part of the village.Kota is surrounded by some rock fort which is now in a damaged position.In kota Lord Hanuma Temple is also there,which is recently redocorated by VILLAGERS and others. This village is famous for its rock mines.The stone pieces of this village were used to the construction of Srisailam Temple and tother famous temples also.Rangacharula kona is also an older village which is very nearer to theis Talamanchipatnam.In this kona a natural tomb is thers.Lord Ranganayaka swamy idole is kept here before 500 years back.This place is a natural beauty decorated one.This village is nearly 14 k.ms. from Jammalamadugu.Pinnaiah cheruvu,moola vanka are the main water resources to the lands of this village.
