Anil Kumar takes charge as YSR District Collector

Kadapa: Anil Kumar, assumed charge as Kadapa Collector on Monday. He said farmers’ problems, ensuring proper drinking water supply, implementation of a Citizen’s Charter, government programmes and schemes would be top on his list of priorities.

Outgoing Collector Shashi Bhushan Kumar, who has been transferred as Managing Director of Sports Authority of A.P., handed over the charge to Mr. Anil Kumar, who was formerly the Director of Bhoobharathi Project. He sought the cooperation of public representatives, officials, media persons and the people for developing the district.

Mr. Anil Kumar and Mr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar were closeted in the ante-room for a brief while, before the new Collector heard people’s grievances in the Praja Vani programme in his chambers.

Kadapa Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi called on the new Collector and greeted him with a bouquet. Several departmental heads and officials also welcomed him and present bouquets.
