While presenting his maiden Railway Budget for the year 2012 in Loksabha Union Minister Dinesh Trivedi announced new passenger train in between Yerraguntla & Nossam.
This passenger train will run daily in between Yerraguntla & Nossam (Nanganapalli). Nossam is located on Yerraguntla – Nandyal Railway Line. This is a line that is announced during 1980s and never been completed till date. All the works are completed upto Nossam and the trail run of the track is completed by South Central Railway.
