A steel processing unit will be set up at Settigunta area in Railway Kodur mandal of Kadapa district at a cost of Rs 1,300 crore. కడప, 25 ఫిబ్రవరి: యోగి వేమన విశ్వవిద్యాలయానికి 2010-11 వార్షిక బడ్జెట్‌లో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నామమాత్రంగా రూ. 7 కోట్లు కేటాయించి చేతులు దులుపుకుంది. దీంతో విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలోని రెండవ దశ అభివృద్ధి పనులు అటకెక్కే పరిస్థితి నెలకొంది. ఈ కేటాయింపుల వల్ల సిబ్బందికి జీతాలు కూడా ఇవ్వలేని దు స్థితి ఉత్పన్నం కానుంది.
