పులివెందుల : పులివెందులలోని శ్రీరంగనాథస్వామి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ఈ నెల 29 నుంచి ఫిబ్రవరి 6వ తేదీ వరకు జరుగుతాయని ఆలయ  ఈఓ జి.వి.రాఘవరెడ్డి తెలిపారు. ఫిబ్రవరి 2న గరుడ వాహన సేవ, 3న కల్యాణోత్సవం, 4న బ్రహ్మరథోత్సవం ఉంటాయన్నారు. తొలిరోజు పూజా కార్యక్రమాలతో ఉత్సవాలు ప్రారంభమవుతాయన్నారు. పగలు సూర్యప్రభ, రాత్రి చంద్రప్రభ వాహనాలపై స్వామి వారిని ఊరేగిస్తారన్నారు. 30వ తేదీన సింహావాహనం, 31న శేష వాహనంపై స్వామివారిని ఊరేగిస్తారు.

కడప, జనవరి19: ప్రజాకవి వేమనకు సంబంధించిన సకల సమాచారాన్నీ, సాహిత్యాన్నీ సేకరించి కడపలోని వేమన విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో సంగ్రహాలయాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని ప్రముఖ కథా రచయిత, భాషావేత్త, కేంద్ర సాహిత్య అకాడమీ పురస్కార గ్రహీత అచార్య కేతు విశ్వనాథరెడ్డి పేర్కొన్నారు. స్థానిక ఎర్రముక్కపల్లిలోని సి.పి.బ్రౌన్ భాషా పరిశోధనా కేంద్రంలో మంగళవారం సాయంత్రం జరిగిన ప్రజాకవి యోగివేమన జయంత్యుత్సవ సభకు ముఖ్య అతిధిగా హాజరైన ఆయన ప్రసంగిస్తూ జనరంజకమైన వేమన పద్యాలకు ప్రామాణిక ప్రతులను కూడా ప్రచురించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు.

దేవునికడప శ్రీలక్షీవెంకటేశ్వరస్వామి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలలో భాగంగా రెండవరోజైన శనివారం ధ్వజారోహణ కార్యక్రమం ఘనంగా జరిగింది. తిరుమల నుంచి వచ్చిన వేదపండితులు, శాస్త్రోక్తంగా ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. ఆలయ ప్రాంగణంలోని ధ్వజస్తంభంపై గరుడ పతాకాన్ని ఎగురవేశారు.
