SC verdict a slap on face: TD Chief

Kadapa : The Telugu Desam president, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, said that the Supreme Court’s observation in the fee reimbursement to students case was like a slap on the face of the state government.

He was speaking to media at TD leader, Kandula Shivananda Reddy’s residence in Kadapa on Tuesday.

Mr Naidu said that the Supreme Court had exposed state government’s inept attitude in reimbursement of fees to students. He alleged that state government was playing games with students’ future by neglecting fees reimbursement to them. Mr Naidu alleged that the government had decided to mortgage assets of the SC, ST, BC and minorities corporation to refund fees. He said that colleges should acquire corporation assets if government delayed repayment of fees.

Mr Naidu said that corrupt practices were rife as UPA chairperson, Mrs Sonia Gandhi, was a money-monger. He alleged Mrs Sonia Gandhi’s involvement in protecting stashed away black money in Swiss banks and former Kadapa MP, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, was floating a new political party for power.
