Kadapa : The Telugu Desam president, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, said that the Supreme Court’s observation in the fee reimbursement to students case was like a slap on the face of the state government.
He was speaking to media at TD leader, Kandula Shivananda Reddy’s residence in Kadapa on Tuesday.
Mr Naidu said that the Supreme Court had exposed state government’s inept attitude in reimbursement of fees to students. He alleged that state government was playing games with students’ future by neglecting fees reimbursement to them. Mr Naidu alleged that the government had decided to mortgage assets of the SC, ST, BC and minorities corporation to refund fees. He said that colleges should acquire corporation assets if government delayed repayment of fees.
The TD chief said that the TD would question government’s negligent attitude in the upcoming Assembly session and he would intensify the stir until government paid scholarships and fees to students.
He alleged that the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, had failed to check crores of rupees scam in 2G spectrum allocation to Telecom service providers.
Mr Naidu said that corrupt practices were rife as UPA chairperson, Mrs Sonia Gandhi, was a money-monger. He alleged Mrs Sonia Gandhi’s involvement in protecting stashed away black money in Swiss banks and former Kadapa MP, Mr Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, was floating a new political party for power.
Mr Naidu warned people that the YSR family would loot public money if people gave power to Mr Jagan;
He said that he had launched the Rythu Kosam yatra in the district to defeat Mr Jagan in the ensuing bypolls. The district TD observer, Mr Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy and Proddutur legislator, Mr M. Linga Reddy, also present.
