Kadapa: Ramakrishna Mission will present prizes worth of Rs. 2 lakh at its campus at Putlampalle on November 21 to winners of an Andhra Pradesh-level written quiz contest on Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Mission secretary Swami Atmavidananda said on Thursday.
In all, 79,902 students from schools and junior colleges in the State participated in the contest, he said in a statement. In addition, 2,419 special prizes and certificates to students and 759 gifts to educational institutions which cooperated in the contests have been sent, he said.
Prize-winners in Group A (sixth and seventh standards) are Shaik Suhana, sixth standard in Sri Geetanjali English medium (EM) school, Ongole, Deavarakonda Sirish, 7 in Sri Sarada Math, Guntur and Nikhita, seventh standard in Bodhini school, Mahabubnagar.
The prize winners in Group B are R. Sudhuja, ninth standard in Model high school, Suryapet, K. Venkatesh Nayak, SSC, Gitanjali school, Balanagar, Mahabubnagar and V. Haripriya,, SSC in Balavikas English medium school, Kadapa, Swami Atmavidananda said.
Winners in Group C (junior college level) are K. Raviteja, Maruthi junior College, Nuzvid, Krishna district, K. Ramyashree, R.K. Vidyalaya junior college at Chittoor and Syed Junaid Ahmed, G.R.C. junior college, Ramachandrapuram, East Godavari district.
