Kanampalli

Kanampalli (Telugu: కనంపల్లి) is a village and is a Gram Panchayat in Pulivendula Mandal of YSR district. It is located at a distance of 5km from Pulivendula, on Pulivendula – Kadiri Route. It comprises of people belonging to different communities.

It’s a tribal village that has Cement roads, good street lights, with excellent water facility.

History:

Long ago this village is locate beneath the hill where Durgam fort is located. It used to be called as Pathur. As bandits were used to attack villagers frequently during those days, villagers left of the place and formed new village on Plivendula – Kadiri ghat.
